Turning Point in my life
A big turning point in my life was when my aunt died. She died at the age of 83. At that time I was 9 years old. I had lived all my life with her; she had raised me up like a mother or a grand mother. She was as a second mother, even though I have my mother but is hard to explain I have always lived with her, since my earlier memories i always have her on mind. Things might have turned out differently if she hadn't passed away. She could have seen me being graduated from High School at least. However, i know wherever she is, she is aware of all the achievements i have made and the goals i have proposed to have it accomplished in my life. In Kite Runner there are many things that would have turned differently, as for example if Assef wouldn't have rapped Hassan, Amir and Baba would still be living with them.

It's hard to lose someone close to you like that. My grandmother, with whom I was close, died the night before I was married -- and it sucks not to have that person there for the important things, you know? Thanks for posting this.
